Hey Juan, thank you so much for your thoughtful answer and for sharing your experience! Its very comforting to read that I am not the only person (although I obviously dont wish anyone to experience this!!, as you said, its very disstressing).
I told my doctors about this and they sended me to a kardiologist to check if my heart has any problems (which is luckily not the case). But they didnt really gave me any further explanations. I will definitly talk to my doctor specialised in PNH again at my next appointment in a few weeks.
Thank you for sharing that it occures for you after exerting during the day, I will observe if I can find a link for myself. Until now I couldnt really make any connection between my day and these occurring heart symptoms, but I just got diagnosed in the beginning of march, hence everything is kinda new to me.

I think it's a terrible idea to use AI to answer such important and personal questions. There's a serious lack of personality and empathy behind this response, and I believe they should stop using AI to answer such serious questions.

I've also experienced very similar situations to the ones you describe, and they are very distressing. It can feel like a classic panic attack, but these are PNH symptoms that then develop into an anxiety attack.
When something like this happened to me, I also felt short of breath and tried to lower my heart rate with deep breaths, which sometimes worked. If it led to sleep, I would have a very light, shallow sleep, and sometimes I would wake up short of breath.
In that case, it's advisable to tell your doctor so they can analyze your LDH levels and check your condition.

I've also noticed that these situations tend to occur when I've exerted myself during the day.
